Your Itinerary

Day 1: Depart from London Heathrow for your flight to Dubai. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel in Dubai for 2 nights stay on BB basis.

Day 2-3: Free time at leisure with a selection of optional excursions to choose from.

Day 4: Road transfer to your chosen hotel in Dubai Desert for 2 nights stay on BB basis

Take a desert safari in to the Dubai desert, just outside of the city. The vast open spaces and undulating sand dunes really do provide an Arabian Desert fantasy. Take a 4x4 jeep and drive into this mesmerising landscape for a day or overnight there under a star-laden sky. Stay for dinner, indulging in the local cuisine; shisha and Arabian coffee, all while watching the mesmerising belly dancers. An experience not to forget.

About WEST COAST of Mauritius HOLIDAYS

The scenic West coast is ideally located close to the capital Port Louis and the town of Cure Pipe which is famous for its shopping and botanical gardens, for the travellers who would like a like more lively resort there is Flic and Flac a beach front filled with souvenir shops, bars and restaurants. The western part of the island is known for its still lagoons and calm waters making it ideal for diving and deep sea fishing. It is even said that dolphins breed in these waters especially off Tamarin Baya a surfer’s paradise.
 
Some of the fascinating natural sites are located in the western region of the island such as The Casela Park a huge aviary with thousands of colourful birds and Le Morne Brabant mountain and peninsula, an isolated rocky mountain famed for being a place the runaway slaves went to hide to avoid capture and the Black River Gorges one of the largest public nature parks of Mauritius.

When To Go

Another popular destination which is hot throughout the year with a sub-tropical climate, however the best time to travel is during the hot dry season where there are cool winds from the south east to help the humidity levels, the north and west area tends to be warmer and drier. The climate does become hotter and more humid with temperatures reaching 30C from November to April. Cyclone and rain season is usually the first 2 months of the year were it is advised not to travel.
