When To Go
Turkey has a varied split climate with different regions at different temperatures at different times of the year. Spring to late autumn is a good time to visit, the climate is warm and not overwhelmingly hot which makes it perfect for sightseeing. The best time to visit is when it’s slightly hotter from June to September where temperatures can reach high 20s into to 30C. Coastal areas tend to be popular for beach holidays during the summer and Istanbul is a destination that is well-liked all year. Some resorts on the coast close for the winter.
