The Heritance Tea Factory represents a unique Green Philosophy that combines responsible tourism with environment friendliness. It is situated on a 25-acre lush green tea estate, over 6000 feet above sea level. It is approx. 163km from Sri Lanka's economic capital of Colombo, just a short drive away from the enchanting town of Nuwara Eliya and approx. 21km from the train station.

The hotel has 57 luxurious colonial style Rooms and Suites, all with beautiful views of the surrounding tea plantations. Wood is a key element of the interior decor. Fully equipped with sat. TV, mini-bar, tea/coffee making facilities, room heater, bathroom with shower and bathtub. Rooms’ amenities include a full range of custom made Tea Factory toiletries, coffee, tea and a gift basket of fruit, biscuits, chocolates, mint and cashew nuts on a daily basis.

Premium Room – 32 rooms located in 1st, 2nd and 3rd lofts (Hether sett wing and Randinigale wing), with the view of the tea plantation.
Superior Room - 3 rooms located in 1st, 2nd and 3rd lofts (Randenigala Wing), offers a fabulous view of the Randenigala valley and the tea plantation.
Executive Floor Deluxe Room - 10 rooms located in 4th loft (Randenigala Wing). Room facilities offer butler service, express check-in and check-out, basket of fresh fruit, good night flowers and etc.
Guest Suites:
Semi Suite – 1 suite located in 4th loft (Randenigala Wing), with the view of the tea plantation. An interconnected Master bed room and a single room situated on the executive floor - this is the highest loft of the hotel.
Flower Dew Suite – 1 suite located 2km above sea level and has 180 view of Ragala and Randenigala reservoir. Room facilities feature modern amenities plus a separate sitting and dining area, and butler service is also available. Flower Dew Suite has been named after the first proprietor planter of Hethersett estate who owned this property from 1879 - 1881.

The Heritance Tea Factory has 2 Restaurants and 2 Bars.
Kenmare Restaurant – the main buffet restaurant offering a comprehensive Eastern and Western cuisine, surrounded and with views of the tea plantations. Open breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Railway Carriage Restaurant - the full-size replica of the train’s restaurant, sitting on its small-gauge rails opens for a unique fine dining experience. The restaurant rule is no menu available. The cuisine, custom selected by the guests, is prepared with an infusion of Western class with Eastern aromas. The experience begins when the Chef personally visits the ‘passengers’ to discuss their personal culinary preferences. The Chef discusses each meal with every guest. The fruits and vegetables served are farm fresh. Fine wines and a unique collection of accompaniments are available to complement the guests’ meal. The railway carriage restaurant at the Heritance Tea Factory will give you an unforgettable experience. Open for dinner.
