Prince William and Kate spent their honeymoon there. and whilst the main islands are Mahé, Praslin and La Digue, there are several smaller islands, each one a gem in its own right.

Desroches offers superb diving, whilst North Island offers some of the best accommodations in Seychelles and is perfect for swimming and carefree relaxation.

When To Go

The Seychelles has a tropical climate all year round with a slight variation. During the summer season temperatures can reach up to the thirties however there are cool breezes from the southeast which can ease the humidity. During the winter season humidity can rise from the monsoon winds and sharp periods of rain can shower down between December and January however sunshine is still present through the wet season.

  • North Island – the ultimate luxury island located around Mahé and Praslin is dedicated to conservation. Explore the island by foot, by bike or on a motorized island buggie or enjoy some water sports (sea-kayaking, diving or snorkeling).
  • Bird Island – small coral island is the most northerly of the Seychelles archipelago and approx. 30 mins flight from Mahé. The island is ideal for those seeking a simple natural environment where you can enjoy the powdery white sand beaches and blue waters. An excellent based for snorkeling or deep sea fishing. One of the Bird’s attractions is Esmeralda, reputed to be the oldest and heaviest living tortoise in the world.
  • Denis Island - coral small classic island (approx. 95kms North of Mahé) is surrounded by coconut palms, brilliant white sand, natural lagoons, coral reefs and rich in marine life. It is the ideal getaway for couples and honeymooners. The resort offers a small, professional and fully equipped dive centre, snorkeling, also bicycles, tours of the farm and fishing.
  • Desroches Island - the largest coral island of the Amirantes group of islands in the Seychelles (approx. 230kms South-West of Mahé. Miles of pristine white sand beaches and excellent service (including snorkeling, deep sea fishing, sunset boat trips, scuba diving, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing or explore the island by bicycle).
  • Frégate Island – one of the most isolated islands in the Seychelles archipelago, surrounded by its own coral reef and secluded pristine white sand beaches (approx. 20 mins flight from Mahé). The island dominated by the 125m high Mount Signal.  Explore the island and it's secluded beaches or enjoy snorkeling, diving or fishing. There is also bird watching - the rare Magpie Robin is found only on Frégate Island.
