The Coco de Mer Hotel & Black Parrot Suites Named after the famous double coconut which grows on the palms which cover the island, Coco de Mer is located in the quiet south west coast of Praslin is situated on Praslin’s southwest coast tucked away in an attractive tropical setting within oceanfront gardens nestled on a granite outcrop with views of the Ocean. It is located in a tranquil and less developed part of Praslin and has access to a small sand beach allowing you to enjoy the laid back Seychellois lifestyle. The hotel has a friendly welcoming atmosphere and an attentive service making it extremely popular with British guests. The resort is approx. 15 minutes from the Praslin Airport.
The resort consists of two separate wings. The Black Parrott Suites are set up on the hillside adjacent to the main hotel and offer great ocean views.
ROOMS & SUITES
The Coco de Mer has 52 chalet style Rooms, all rooms are sea facing and have a spacious contemporary feel. Rooms are decorated in natural blue and earthy colours. Bathrooms are elegantly finished with a shower and a double vanity. Facilities include air-conditioning, "in room" baths, separate bathroom, ceiling fan, IDD telephone, sat. TV, tea/coffeem making facilities, mini refrigerator, safe, hairdryer, and balcony/terrace.
Guest Rooms:
Standard Room (approx. 50 sqm) - 22 rooms; situated at the hillside or garden area and have a lounge and balcony area. Bathrooms have a walk in shower. Inter-connecting rooms are also available.
Superior Room - 18 rooms; situated closer to the beach with a terrace area and have a bath tub inside the bedroom. Rooms will accommodate 2 adults + 2 children. Inter-connecting rooms are also available.
Guest Suites:
Black Parrot Junior Suite (approx. 62-82 sqm) - 12 suites; recently refurbished are spacious and more luxurious with breathtaking views, situated at a magnificent spot at the top of the hill. Black Parrot suites have a separate pool and bar .Extras include espresso machine, CD player, in-room baths 'with a view', sitting area and magnificent ocean views. Children under 14 are not permitted to stay at The Black Parrot Suites.
Please Note: Interconnecting rooms are available. The Black Parrott Wing offers the best views Children under 14 years are not permitted at The Black Parrot Suites but are welcomed in Coco De Mer Standard and Superior rooms.

Beach description - the Coco de Mer Hotel lies on several small white sand beaches which form part of Anse Bois de Rose on Praslin Island A courtesy bus runs several times a week to the beautiful Anse Lazio Beach.
Please Note: prevailing winds and tides can cause a buildup of seaweed during certain times of the year (typically, from time to time during the May to October period), however, guests always have access to ample sun-bathing areas; large sand-terraces; palm tree strung hammocks, and sun loungers.
IMPORTANT NOTICE - Facilities can not be guaranteed to be open at all times from time to time facilities may close for various reason such as due to maintenance or low occupancy, without notice.
