VILLAS

The Villas at Maia have been beautifully designed spacious secluded and gracious to stimulate the senses with stunning views and uncanny attention to detail. All villas are approx 250sqm all with sea views, air-conditioned bedrooms with King-size bed, stocked bar, flat screen TV, DVD all with surround sound. Inter-connecting bathroom with separate shower room, twin vanity units, w.c., secluded outdoor Gazebo with luxury day-bed leading onto an infinity-edged pool inset with a sumptuous two person bath.

Guest Villas:
Ocean Front Villas - The hotel has 8 villas nestled on the slopes of the hill, Ocean View Villas offer a direct, unobstructed view of the ocean. They are located a short distance from the all-day dining area.

Ocean Panoramic Villas - The hotel has 11 villas Positioned high upon Maia hillcrest, Ocean Panoramic Villas offer unparalleled 180° panoramic views of the sparkling blue ocean and lush green surrounds.

Ocean View Villas - The hotel has 3 villas. Situated on the beach, Ocean Front Villas are in close proximity to the Maia Spa and all-day dining area. They are the only Villas suitable for children.

Maia Signature Villas - The hotel has 8 villas are completely secluded from one another, perfect for those who desire privacy. Villas have spectacular ocean views and offer direct access to a secret beach. Complimentary champagne on arrival,daily newspaper, laundry services, daily aqua gym classes in your private pool,  and a manicure and pedicure in the privacy of your villa.

Maia Spa - a visit the Maia Spa encompasses the Maia philosophy which believes in a serene mind, a pampered body and a rejuvenated spirit. The boutique spa has three individual, private open-air pavilions are separated from each other by natural rock formations. Each spacious 120m2 pavilion features its own garden, changing rooms and showers,  allowing you to enjoy world-class health and beauty indulgence  with an extensive range of treatments, transcendental meditation, accompanied yoga, shiatsu and qi gong. The spa uses   exclusive La Prairie products, including state-of-the-art treatment techniques and its renowned transforming products.

Privately trained therapists offer intuitive massages and an assortment of packages, including special Kids Only treatments such as the banana leaf wrap with hydrating gel for sunburn.

DINING

The Maia Resort has 1 Restaurant and 1 Bar.

Tic Tac Restaurant - one of the only gourmet restaurants to be found on the island of Mahe and it is for the exclusive use of residents only. The culinary team focus on creating to dishes catered for individual needs and desires. They offer a varied menu featuring  Creole French, contemporary and Mediterranean cuisine, complemented by Asian and Creole accents using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.

The Sunset Pool Bar - lies en route to the main pool and offers a variety of sumptuous snacks and refreshing drinks or signature cocktails throughout the day. The bar is a wonderful stop from which to have a pre dinner aperitif while watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean.

Private Dinning (In Villa Dining or Out; Romantic & Secluded) - private dining allows you to dine either in the privacy of your own villa, arranged by your personal butler or in romantic and secluded setting  by candlelight  by the beach.  

The Wine Cellar - Maia is the proud custodian of an impressive collection of sought-after, international wines, and the resident Sommelier can introduce you to some new or particularly favourite vintages. Private tastings by appointment can be easily arranged.
 

All Inclusive @ Maia - the All Inclusive option at Maia includes the following experiences:

The Maia Resort welcomes Children, their Facilities Include:

• Activities - children are very welcome at Maia. It is ideal for families who crave privacy and seclusion. The kids are kept entertained with a wide range of activities snorkeling in the pool sand castle building and painting and colouring session. For older children there are activities such as treasure hunts group canoe trips volley-ball and movies. Personalised activities can be arranged by the recreational team and your personal butler will also be at had to care for and entertain your children.
• Dinning - Kid's menus are available for in villa dinning and in the restaurants.
• Children Policy - children can stay within a designated area in villas on the beach front to ensure other couples are undisturbed and that families can relax together. With close proximity to The Spa and dining areas and direct access to the gardens and beach, Maia's Ocean Front Villas are most suited to young families.

Child Stays in villa with adults -two child under the age of 16 can stay with 2 adult in a villa:

• Children under 2 years old, sleeping in a cot
• 1 child up to 6 years of age, sleeping on the bed-couch (1.6m)
• 1 child up to 16 years of age, staying in an extra bed. (excluding 24.12.09 - 10.01.10 where a surcharge applies)
• For two or more children, or for those older than 16 years of age, a second villa is required. Ocean Front or Ocean View Villas (for teenagers only) can be requested
