The hotel sits on the northern of Cerf Island just off the coast of Mahe and is the largest resort on the island.It is is situated at the entrance of the Sainte Anne Marine National Park, as is 1.5km long (about a mile) by 1km (¾ of a mile); it reaches a height of 108m (354 feet) and lies just 3km east of the main island of Mahe. The deepest point of the Marine Park is 250 metres (820 feet). The hotel is from the airport approx. 30 minutes; approx. 15 minute car ride followed by a 15 minute boat ride from the island of Mahé.
Cerf was named after the French frégate "Le Cerf" which arrived at Port Victoria on 1 November 1756. The island has a prime location, in a National Marine Park, with waters around the island truly spectacular with exceptional marine life and a wide variety of reef fish crabs, sea urchins, starfish, octopus to name but a few. Cerf Island is the only island in the marine park to have a small local population who commute to Mahe for their daily business. They live on the opposite side of the island to the resort.

VILLAS
The 12 Villas are constructed from local timbers and stone with thatched roofs and combine a traditional natural ambience with modern day elegance and comfort. All villas have air conditioning, ceiling fan, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, open bathroom with twin glass vanity units, double bath, open plan outdoor shower, walk-in wardrobe, sun beds, dining table and chairs on balcony for in-room dining, , Mini-bar, IDD telephone, 25ins Satellite TV, DVD/MP3/CD/VCD player.
Guest Villas:
Hillside Villa (approx. 58 sqm + 22 sqm balcony) 4 villas – villas have a master bedroom with four poster bed and balcony, with wonderful fauna views.
Hideaway Villa – 3 villas – are similar to Hillside Villas but with secluded location and private sun gardens, with a choice of either larger bedroom or ocean views.
Torquoise Suite (approx. 68 sqm + 28 sqm balcony) - 5 suites – Are constructed from timber and have a master bedroom, connecting to a lounge, separate study room with sofa bed and balcony. 2 spacious bathrooms.
The lodge has an infinity pool and a small beach with a choice of water activities for the energetic that includes snorkelling, kayaks, and pedal boats. Clients may take advantage of the Mini Spa offering beauty treatments and in-room massages. Picnics, barbecues and excursions of neighbouring Mahe can also be arranged.

DINING
The Cerf Island Restaurants and Bars.
"1756" - is the main restaurant and offers a choice of traditional Creole dishes and southern French cuisine with panoramic views of the ocean and St. Anne Island and Marine National Park. Open 07:30-11:00, 12:30- 15:30 and 19:00- 21:30.
Pool Bar & Beachside Dining - is located just by the pool and offers a selection of light lunches, snacks, fresh juices and drinks. Along the beach there is some seating area to enjoy your food while overlooking the beach. Open 09:00- 18:00.
Cocktail Bar - located at the entrance to the main restaurant and offers a range of cocktails ideal for an aperitif or night cap.
In-room Dining - a selection of light snack or international dishes can be served in your room . Please note a surcharge is applicable per order.
Private Dining - for the romantic a private dining experience can be arranged on the beach on the resort premises. Please note a surcharge is applicable.
Picnic - for those who want to wonder off for the day or picnic on the beach the hotel offers a selection of two picnic baskets to choose from.
