Tucked away, approximately 50 metres inland from the beautiful beach of Anse Severe on the north west coast of La Digue, the recently enlarged Domaine de L'Orangeraie Hotel offers 45 villas set in luxurious tropical gardens. A haven of peace and serenity, the hotel's architecture creates an air of tropical harmony in a setting of lush manicured gardens. The hotel is approx. 35 minutes from the airport (approx. 5 minutes from La Digue Jetty).
VILLAS
Le Domain de L’Orangeraie has 45 Villas, with a warm 'zen' style and are located, a short walk from the island's jetty and the Anse Severe beach. They are scattered within the gardens and hillside and range from the family garden villas to the superb Villas de Charme Elegance. All with air-conditioned bedrooms, ceiling fan, satellite TV, internet facilities (chargeable), safe, mini-bar, tea/coffee facilities and balcony or terrace. Many villas also have outside bathrooms. Most villas can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children.
Guest Villas:
Garden Villa (approx. 70 sqm) - 10 villas; which are spread over 2 floors, with bedroom, bathroom and balcony on the first floor, lounge/living area with TV, fully equipped kitchenette, terrace, outdoor shower on the ground floor, air conditioning, ceiling fan. All villas have hairdryer, shaver sockets, mini-fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, safe, turn down service, bathroom with bath, shower and wc. Maximum occupancy 2 adults + 2 children per villa with connecting villas available.
Villa de Charme (approx. 70 sqm) - 31 villas; which are spacious decorated using local wood and granite to creating a natual feel. Villas are located on gentle slopes with wonderful views over the crystal clear turquoise lagoon, each villa has one bedroom, wifi access, terrace, an outdoor bathroom with bathtub and rain shower. Maximum occupancy 3 persons with connecting villas available.
Villa de Charme Elegance (approx. 100 sqm) - 3 villas; which are nestled on the hillside, offering great views, similar to the Villas de Charme but with more privacy and a Jaccuzzi overlooking tropical gardens.
Villa Presidential (approx. 485 sqm) - one villa which is a private sanctuary with views across the ocean. One master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, guestroom, with own bathroom shower area, living room, 2 dressing rooms, kitchenette, spacious decking with swimming pool, jaccuzzi, dining kiosk, dedicated 24 hour butler service, tailor-made meals and snacks, soft drinks, juices and mocktails. Welcome bottle of champagne, Plasma TV, wifi access. Maximum occupancy 6 persons.

The Eden Rock Wellness Centre & Spa - the spa is situated on a small peak and surrounded by giant granite boulders, offers magnificent views of the lagoon. The spa has an good range of spa treatments with single and double massage rooms and a range of their own product, a Hammam, hair dressing facilities and offers manicure services.
Swimming Pool - the new swimming pool and terrace occupies an idyllic setting beside the sparkling ocean and with glorious views towards Praslin.
Beach - tucked away, approximately 50 metres inland from the beautiful beach of Anse Severe. Many of La Digue's beaches are a short, level cycle ride from Le Domaine de l'Orangeraie. The most prominent among these is Anse Source d'Argent , said to be one of the Seychelles' most beautiful beaches with the iconic images of The Seychelles of fine powder sand beached with towering granite boulders, coconut palms, and reef-sheltered waters.
IMPORTANT NOTICE - Facilities can not be guaranteed to be open at all times from time to time facilities may close for various reason such as due to maintenance or low occupancy, without notice.
DINING
The Le Domaine has 2 Restaurants and 2 Bars.
Santosha Restaurant - offers a cosy atmosphere for alfresco dining and serves popular international cuisine and local Creole delicacies with a mix of live cooking and buffet-style service. Breakfast is served at the Santosha.
Combava Restaurant - located on the upper deck and is an exquisitely designed roof terrace lounge serving a la carte food only.
L'Alambic Lounge bar.
Le Cipaye - a relaxed atmosphere and romantic setting adjacent to the infinity pool bar indeal to enjoy sipping cocktails.
Room Service & Private Dining - a range of drinks and home-made specialties are available for room service as well and for private romantic dining.
Self-Catering in Villas - the villas all have fully-equipped kitchens, and there is also a communal outdoor BBQ which are for guests use. Please note that culinary supplies for visitors are limited on La Digue, as in all of the Seychelles, should you or your children have any specialist dietary requirements, please be prepared.
Children of all ages are welcome at Le Domain de L’Orangeraie and the hotel offers interconnecting rooms. The Garden villas are recommended to be more suitable for families as they are spacious have kitchens and the sea is quite close. Please note that the new hillside villas the terraces at the front are high and open so may not be suitable for small children.
Cots and highchairs are available. Babysitting is not usually available here.
The Hotel does not have a dedicated Kids club or specialised activates for children, but bicycles including children’s bicycles are available free of charge and the hotel has a pool with the beaches are close by.
BUILDING MAINTENANCE

From 01 June 2012 to 01 June 2013, Le Domaine de I'Irabgeraue will redecorate and refurbish the Garden Villa.The work will undergo from 10am to 6pm. The hotel guarantees that as the redecoration will be effective inside the existing Garden Villas only and there will not be any disturbances for other in-house clients.
