The plantation-style resort is located on the West coast of Mauritius, over 500m of sandy beaches and covers more than 12 hectares landscaped gardens. It’s located approx. 35 km from commercial centers of Port Louis and Curepipe, and the Marlin Fishing Clubs of Black River. The transfer time from the airport is approx. 1 hour.

There are 258 Rooms and Suites, all equipped with air-conditioning, mini-bar, tea/coffee making facilities, LCD sat. TV, safe, hairdryer, and balcony. Connecting rooms also available in all room types.

Guest Rooms & Villa Suites
Standard Room - Twin or King-size bed. Max. occupancy 2 adults + 2 children (under 12 yrs.) with only one extra bed OR 3 adults. 29 of them have bath with shower and two Queen-size beds. 1 room specially for handicapped guest (approx. 40 sqm).

Superior Room – Twin or King-size bed, separate bath, stand-up shower cubicle. 47 of them are furnished with two Queen-size beds. Max. occupancy 2 adults + 2 children (under 12 yrs.) with only one extra bed OR 3 adults.

The Sugar Beach Resort Restaurants & Bars.

Mon Plaisir Restaurant – the main restaurant serves buffet continental and English breakfast, and cosmopolitan buffet dinners.

Tides Restaurant – the beach front restaurant offers seafood cuisine for lunch and dinner.

Citronella’s Café – enjoy light meals, pizzas, salads for lunch and Italian cuisine for dinner.

Paul & Virginie Restaurant – the restaurant feature a la carte menu for lunch (pizzas, grilled specialties, salads, sandwiches) and for dinner seafood dishes.

Tides Bar – a variety of international beverages, finest rum cocktails, five-o’clock tea, live music and entertainment (occasional).

Mon Plaisir Bar - inspired by French pavement cafés offering an authentic craft market and live street evening entertainment. A selection of old rums, malt whiskies, single barrel bourbons and Havana cigars.

Sports Bar - offers refreshments for tennis players, located at the tennis courts.

Citronella’s Bar - adjacent Citronella’s Café, the bar serves aperitifs and refreshments.  

Beach Trolley Bar - offering refreshments and light snacks along the beach.

Dress code:
