Your Itinerary

Day 1 - UK / Amman: Fly from London Heathrow to Amman to be met and transferred to your hotel for 1 nights’ stay.

 
Day 2 – Amman / Madaba / Mt Nebo / Wadi Mujib / Kerak / Petra: A full day to explore the King’s Highway. Visit the Christian Town of Madaba ‘The City of Mosaics’ and the Monastery in Mount Nebo. Drive to Kerak Castle with its diverse history, before arriving in Petra for 2 nights stay.


Day 3 – Petra: A full day visit to the ancient Nabatean capital starts on horseback, followed by a walk through the Siq. The tour then proceeds to gradually unfold the mysteries of the Red Rose City, with its spectacular Treasury, Royal Tombs, Burial Chambers and high places of sacrifice. Return to hotel.


Day 4 – Petra / Beida / Wadi Rum / Aqaba: After breakfast proceed to Beida, also known as little Petra. Continue south to the enchanting desert of Wadi Rum for a jeep tour inside the Wadi until sunset. Enjoy the view while drinking a cup of traditional Bedouin tea then proceed to Aqaba for 2 nights stay.


Day 5 – Aqaba: After breakfast, enjoy a full day at leisure on the Red Sea. Those interested in snorkelling and scuba diving can enjoy one of the world’s best conserved coral reefs.


Day 6 – Aqaba / Dead Sea: Breakfast, then morning at leisure in Aqaba. Afternoon transfer to your Dead Sea hotel for 2 nights stay.


Day 7 – Dead Sea: Breakfast, then enjoy a free day at leisure at the lowest point on the surface of the earth. Take a dip in the warm salty waters or enjoy a famous Dead Sea minerals spa treatment.


Day 8 – Dead Sea / UK: Breakfast, followed by morning transfer to Amman airport. Assistance with formalities and departure to final destination.

The entrance to the city is through the Siq, a narrow gorge over 1 km in length, which is flanked on either side by soaring 80 metre high cliffs. Just walking through the Siq is an experience in itself. The colours and rock formations are dazzling and as you reach the end of the Siq, you will catch your fi rst breath-taking glimpse of Al Khazneh (The Treasury). Petra is a legacy of the Nabataeans who settled in south Jordan more than 2000 years ago. The kingdom endured for centuries until Roman Emperor Trajan annexed the kingdom and by the 16th century, Petra was completely lost to the West and remained so for almost 300 years. In 1812 a Swiss traveller named Johann Lugwig Burckhart re-discovered it after persuading his guide to take him to the site of the rumoured lost city.
