This beautiful island is covered in soft white sand, surrounded by the clear waters of a lagoon, and is only 200 metres wide and 900 metres long.

Location:

On the natural Meemu Atoll approx. 130kms south of Male airport. It is reached by a 40 minute seaplane transfer plus a short trip by local boat.

Accommodation:

There are 100 thatched standard roof Beach Villas which are scattered around the island. All rooms have king size or twin beds and have air-conditioning, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and a timber deck and partly open air bathroom, bathtub and outdoor shower only. Beach Villa Suites have 2 bedrooms with seating areas. Family Villas are similar to the Villa Suites but have no sitting area, instead adjoining doors. Water Villas are built on stilts over the lagoon with a wooden deck area with chairs. Water Villas Suites with separate living area. Honeymoon Water Villas are built on stilts over lagoon with a king size bed, bathroom with Jacuzzi, and are built in the water with no jetty just a small boat to take you across to your villa.

Facilities:

A small fitness centre, fresh water swimming pool, and Mandara Spa. PADI recognised dive centre with a range of water sports including sailing and windsurfing (charges payable).

Dining:

Dining options include the main restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, with an al fresco a la carte restaurant serving International dishes and a main bar offering a variety of tropical drinks and light snacks.
