This Hotel offers a unique location and a relaxing atmosphere away from the noise of central Luxor.

Location:

On Crocodile Island on the River Nile, approx. 5kms south of Luxor and 20 minutes transfer from the airport.

Accommodation:

The 332 Standard Rooms are set in the gardens with
air-conditioning, bath room, safe, mini-fridge, telephone, TV and a terrace. Deluxe Rooms are more spacious with private terrace. Suites are also available.

Facilities:

Swimming pools and a sun terrace. Tennis court, football and volley court. There is a fitness centre, mini zoo and a library. There is also a shuttle bus or boat into town. Occasional evening entertainment, hairdressers, bank and a lobby shop.

The hotel is building new bungalos ( approx 250) and a new lobby building located on the left side of the hotel main entrance. Finishing date: 2012

The hotel is building a new bridge that communicates between the main road and the hotel. Finishing date: May 2010

The building works are covered with high barriers.

Only the clients who are accommodated near by the works will be affected due to the hammering works.
Works start at 08:00 am until 06:00 pm

The new lobby / reception building will be ready to be taken in operation by July 2010.

The new and enlarged Zoo has already been successfully transferred to its new location on the east side of the Island but remains officially closed for the time being till further notice.


Facilites can not be guaranteed to be open at all times from time to time facilities may close for various reason such as due to maintenance or low occupancy, without notice.

Please Note: 7 days maintenance on the Infinity pool will take plase from 6th October 2010 and the followed 10 days.

Dining:

The Jolie Ville Restaurant offers buffets from around the world and Movenpick a la Carte restaurant. Shehrazade Terrace, Crocodile Bar, Fellah's Tent, Pool Terrace Bar serving snacks and traditional Egyptian dishes and private venues for special occasions.

Luxury Luxor

Located 420 miles south of Cairo are some of the most important sites in Egypt. Thebes was the capital city of the New Kingdom, whose glory still glows in world history, thousands of years after its decline.

Two tremendous temple complexes were established in honour of Ra of Heliopolis, who became the god Amun Ra at Thebes. With his consort, Mut and son Khonsu, he formed the Theban Triad for which the temples at Karnak and Luxor were established.

The vast precinct of the temples at Karnak, which took a thousand years to build, covers an area of 60 acres and contains 20 smaller temples. The Hypostyle Hall at Karnak is the largest single chamber of any temple in the world, covering an area of 4,983 sq m. Across the Nile lies the Necropolis of Thebes, burial ground of the New Kingdom Pharaohs, where over sixty tombs have been discovered, the most famous being that of Tutankhamun.
