A friendly hotel built on the hillside, overlooked by the 13th century Bellapais Abbey with spectacular views over Kyrenia. This intimate hotel offers a personal service and is set in lush gardens filled with lemon and orange groves. The hotel is approx. 40 mins from Ercan airport.

Accommodation:

The hotel consists of 9 split-level cottages and 8 single-level cottages. All individually designed and artfully decorated in traditional Cypriot style. All rooms have air-conditioning, mini-bar, sat.TV, and balcony or terrace. Either room type can be requested, cannot be guaranteed.

Dining:

The a la carte Bellapais Gardens restaurant offers a wide choice of international or local dishes. Your drink you can enjoy by the pool at the Pool bar (seasonal).

Luxury Kyrenia

Kyrenia is a small picturesque harbour town situated on the northern coast of the island, and said to date from the 10th century BC. The jewel in the crown of this ancient fishing village is its delightfully quaint harbour, with its wide variety of restaurants, cafes and bars. Day or night, the harbour is an ideal place to while away the hours, as you take in the spectacular views of Kyrenia castle. The ‘Five Finger’ mountain range forms a stunning backdrop to the town, and has several beautiful villages nestled within. One of these, Bellapais, is known for its lovely abbey and the ‘Tree of Idleness’, which was made famous in Gerald Durrell’s novel ‘Bitter Lemons’. Most hotels are situated on the outskirts of Kyrenia, some enjoying a setting in charming old villages at the foothills of the mountains.
